Debbie studied osteopathy for four years full-time at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London, and qualified in 2002 with an Honours Degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a Diploma in Naturopathy. She worked in the south before relocating to Scotland, and opening Hamilton Osteopathy Clinic. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is recognised by many private healthcare providers. Debbie is committed to life-long learning through a system of mandatory Continuing Professional Development, and has undertaken post-graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Medical Acupuncture, Pilates and Osteopathic Techniques in Pregnancy amongst others.
